Alright, it's daylight out, so pulled one of my driving lights down and shot a couple pics. To be clear: I personally removed this driving light from the plastic bumper that came on my Gladiator built in Sep/Oct 20. I bought a used OEM steel bumper off a fellow with a JL. He kept his old lights to use on his new bumper. Note that on the OEM light that came out of my OEM plastic bumper there are only two screw holes. They line up exactly with the two nutplates in the OEM JL steel bumper I bought. I have no idea where three bolts to hold rumor comes from, but that certainly is not my experience. Again, there may be a design change. I ran into similar confusion trying to get the correct skid plate for the bumper.

Yeah that is how it should be on the Rubicons which is the question the op was asking you are correct Two mounting points. The sports have 3 mounting points to mount the lights. I think some are getting the sport lights confused with the Rubicon ones.

Who would have thought there's a difference? Anyway, that may also explain the confusion I experienced with the skid plate late last year.

Yeah not sure why they went that route for. Here is a picture of the ones I got for the my sport. It's tough to see but it has two mounting points on the left and one on the right.

I bought the steel bumper used. Perhaps the previous owner had purchased something for the lights. He sold it without lights, and mine just fit right in--no extra parts beyond what he sold me needed. If you need more info, quote this post and ask and I'll go take a photo once the sun comes up.

Edit: Okay, really had my curiosity up. 2 a.m. and I'm outside crawling under my Gladiator. Neighbors already think I'm nuts, so who cares? Anyway, photo. Just two bolts holding the OEM LED headlights removed from an OEM plastic bumper to an OEM steel bumper. Based on the conflicting information I was getting to source the right parts to mount a skid plate and winch to this bumper, I suspect that there has been some redesign on the steel bumper.

Here are my stock LED fog lights off my Plastic Rubicon Bumper...

Notice your fog lights are different than mine. Which is odd since you mentioned you also removed your stock ones from the plastic bumper.

So there's 2 different LED fog lights that I see from the mopar website.

Here's the one I have

Here's the one that looks like Mark has on his jeep...

As you can see 2 different fog lights for 2 different bumpers. I posted on another thread and a member recommended these brackets...
https://www.quadratec.com/p/oracle-...jl-gladiator-jt-factory-steel-bumper-5857-504

I went ahead and ordered these and will try to mount them again to the steel bumper.

On a side note I'm also having issues with getting the correct skid plate to fit :headbang: the steel bumper.

Were you having issues mounting the skid plate to the steel bumper?

Just finding the correct part number. The old one for the plastic bumper would not fit with the steel bumper. As with this, there was a conflict in the information that was posted on forums. I did eventually order one hoping it was the correct one, and it worked great.

Well, since I'm the only one who has posted pics of bumpers, I'll assume you're referring to me. The OEM steel bumper I have came off the JL the seller drove to our meetup when I bought it. At least, that is what he told me. Besides, I don't believe JK bumpers fit JTs, which is why all of the manufacturers are doing redesigns. Some faster than others.

I believe he was talking to me per the other thread he responded with the pictures I posted of my bumper...
