Just finished up installing the 4" LZR LED spot beam lights near the A-pillar using KC Hilites mount. I bought these to compliment the KC Hilites Gravity Pro Sport 6" LED driving beam lights I installed on the bumper hoop a little while back. This combination should give me enough light up front and downstream for my needs.

I wired them both up to my factory auxiliary switches using a BadgeGlow JL aux board. If you don't have one of these, I highly recommend it as it keeps everything nice and neat, plus gives you grounding options.

How does this work? Do you wire from the factory Aux Bundle to the Badge Glow JL and from the BadgeGlow to the specific accessory?

I am purchased the Aux switches on my JT (arriving in a few days). Trying to learn what I'll need to wire lights and winch to the Aux Switches. Any information/advice/suggestions are appreciated.

After seeing this thread, I ordered one of these for my truck. It should be here in a few days. The four Aux wires connect to this board and provide a convenient way to connect devices.

You pretty much got it. The BadgeGlow comes either with 4 spots you can solder the factory wires to, or with 4 soldered in leads you attach your factory wires to. Then you bolt it to the fender and the terminal block on top gives you an each place to attach a ring terminal or slotted connector to. I like how it neatens everything up and also gives you the extra ground points to. I went ahead and ordered one for mine for future expansion.

You shouldn’t wire the winch to this or your aux switches though. It should be a direct connect to the battery because of the draw. When you get your winch and see the gauge (size) wire, you’ll see why.

So, what fuse size did you use for the LZR lights? I ask because I'll build my own harness, but the harness that came with the lights has a 20 amp fuse for a pair of lights. KC says on their website that the lights draw 2 amps each. And spitballing the wire in their harness, no way I'd put a continuous 20 amp draw on that small wire (I have over a half century working electronics and avionics). I'm thinking a 10 amp fuse should suffice for the ***four*** lights I plan to install. But perhaps there's some surge current when the lights are first turned on?

I didn't use the fuse that came with the LZR lights. I basically cut the entire harness and wired it into the JL Aux Board shown above. That JL Aux Board is wired to the 4 factory auxiliary switches that came with my Gladiator. Those 4 already have inline fuses in. The Aux 3 that the LZR lights are wired to are a 15 amp fuse.

That is essentially what I ended up doing, except I connected my homebrew positive wire directly to the aux switch 3 pigtail. The JL Aux Board does look like a neat solution, especially for anyone who'll be using several of those pigtails in the engine bay.

Wow, it amazes me sometimes how many absolutely ridiculously useless things are being made for this Jeep, like that terminal strip, while we can't get a real front to back full coverage bikini top from anyone. The Gladiator comes with a kit full of WATERPROOF connectors/shrink tubing to make these connections super easy. That silly terminal strip is shown with non-waterpoof connectors in all of their examples. Dumb. I can tell you from experience that using a non-waterpoof connection led to losing my JK's light bar one night due to corrosion. Most of us regularly expose our Jeeps to...weather...
