Hello all,

New member to the forum although I’ve been reading posts here for sometime. So after owning two JK’s and a JLU I decided I wanted a JT, I love what Jeep offers and the tub just helps me with some of my other hobbies - dirt bikes, camping and racing pigeons, yes, racing pigeons!

Unfortunately in Australia purchasing parts for Jeep’s is rather difficult and our stupidly strict laws really limit what modifications can be made - anything over 34’ tyres and a 2’ lift requires engineer certification. Australia only has one option when it comes to spring and guard heights so whilst I purchased the Rubicon it came with the lower front guards. We also only get 32” tyres on Rubi’s!

I purchased a fully optioned 21 JT Gladiator Rubicon which took 6 months from time of order to arrival and with less then 15 miles on the clock the modifications began!

2” Mopar lift but instead of using the lower control arms that come with the kit I purchased the AEV geometry correction brackets and used them instead, I also purchased the TeraFlex front and rear adjustable track bars and the Rock Jock drive shaft drop kit. I wanted the AEV lift kit but it would have lifted well over our legal limits.
AEV Borah wheels with Nitto ridge grappler 285/75R17 tyres and they sit just perfect.
Mopar CAI and Borla Touring cat back system
I also have the Fishbone half rack on order for my iKamper mini.

I couldn’t purchase most of these parts locally and not to many places in the US willing to ship down under and most of those that do charge more for shipping then the items are worth so I need to give the team over at RubiTrux a huge shout out for the support they provided with some of the parts - supper fast shipping and a very reasonable rate.

Cheers,

Kevin

Hi Kev...nice Gladiator.
Id go looking for a big winch sooner rather than later, the Gladiator needs it with 2" + 34 tyres (i say that from experience)...nothing under 12,000lbs. Ive got an offroad animal bar with a big warn winch on mine.
