Full confession, my Jeep is ordered but I won't see it for a while, so I can't just run out to the driveway and check this out and fiddle with things.

Question I have is, has anyone found any sort of an aftermarket 12v solenoid that might work to lock the console, or glove box, or rear seat when leaving the truck parked with the doors off? Just spitballing ways to make it more convenient vs. going around and twisting the physical key in all the locks. Either modifying the factory latch, or adding a second one that's electrically operated?

I understand if someone really wants your junk they can just rip things apart, but if they want it that bad nothing's going to stop them. However you might have those looky-loos wandering by in a parking lot just give the glove box latch a lift to see what happens, and your sunglasses are gone....

Rear seat storage and dashboard glove box are already lockable using the car keys it comes with. Rear under seat storage has optional lockable box you can order from factory or purchase after market.

Any village idiot can get into a locked console, glove box, and/or rear seat with a small Swiss Army Knife in short time, in other words they are not very secure when locked.

That’s not what he’s asking…

Nothing automatic that I’ve read about.
Why not try designing something yourself?

Oh, I see now! @Darel my bad? so you are looking for something that could enable auto-lock as secure as we have for the doors? That will be interesting to know if any such solution exist.

I can make something work. Problem is I'll just have to wait for the truck to get built because it'll need fiddling! Still in D1 status though.

Hardest part IMO would be the console - so LITTLE space! You'll lose storage with almost anything you do there. Glove box and under seat is more doable. Even at that, a screwdriver will open the glove box or console when locked - so I'd start with the under seat area and work forward.
Much more room in the glove box and you can easily take it all apart to work on it.
Today's solenoids are a whole lot more compact than the solenoids used in the past for such things.
