I read through a dozen article/forums and a dozen videos. I’ve wired lights before but with a wiring harness with a switch.
I wired the lights, red to orange aux wire and black to the ground on the body. I went into the radio and set up the aux 3 to latching and ignition. Everything I watched and read said it was simple and easy, but as luck goes it was not.
I found an old thread that mentioned an issue with switch block but it was 2020.
thanks for the help.

Are you getting power to the wire? Have you checked fuses?

I did check the fuse. There is no power to the lights when the switch is on. My neighbor tested with a meter. So it has to be something to do with the switches.

Finally found the actual fuse for aux 3 (f103), it was blown. I’ll wire everything tomorrow and see if it works.
