So I have a basic sport, and am looking to run some power to my truck bed myself. I have acquired the following cig. outlet for the bed.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09JCNJGZ3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have the auxiliary switch setup, and am currently using one 40 amp switch, and one 15 amp switch. I plan on eventually cannibalize a rubicon/eaton locker, so I would like to keep the the 40 amp aux. switch free if possible. I plan on running a fridge, and a few small devices, with the potential for rgb lighting for my soft topper. This puts me fairly close to the 15 amp limit from what I've read on datasheets.
With that being said, I was wondering if I could use the auxiliary battery to route power to my bed, but can't find too much information on it. I always disable ess, and that's really the only use I have read for it. Has anyone done this? And does anyone have information on this auxiliary battery/experience with going this route?
