I love my Bright White Rubicon JT, but I am not enamored by the red on the dual-color exterior highlights -- the hood decal, the Trail Rated badging, and the Jeep badging on the sides and tailgate. Ideally, I would love the same dual-color highlights but swap orange for red.

Is it easy to remove the existing badges? If so, and if I could--theoretically--find someone with a Mojave that was interested in debadging their orange-based dual-color badges, are these things that can be swapped out?

Yes, use a heat gun. Look online for the other items.

Use a heat gun and pry slowly. Some people slip dental floss or fishing line behind the badges to help. Then you peal the rest of the tape off and clean with googone. The trail rated badge is the hardest one to remove.

The old badges are not likely to go back on easily because the tape is mostly destroyed. Buy new ones.

We debadged my wife’s JLR because she did not like the red. We replaced the trail rated badge with a bronze colored badge that went better with the orange and brown Scrambler style stripes we added.

I swapped my trail rated badges for the Mojave ones about a week ago. Very easy. Heat gun and fishing line and they come right off. And you’re better off buying new from the factory. I think i paid under $30 for two new ones?

Fantastic. I'd love to see a photo of how it looks.

Y'all are fantastic. A trip through the Jeep website and then through the Mopar site made for some good, solid procrastination.

Now, I just need to (a) buy these without angering my wife too badly, and (b) install them without everything looking crooked as hell.

I welcome tips on that as well -- LOL.

Swapped my trail rated badge for the Jeep performance parts badge. Same size as the trail rated, I believe they come with the Mopar lifts, bought mine online.
