Thanks for the info, I have already seen some scams circulating around. It is tough to tell who the right people are in this internet age where anyone can make themselves look official.

Agreed,... I want any donation to get to those who need it most.....the Bahamian people.... This was from personal friend who has connections to the Bahamas.... Lots of people are ready to boat/fly over already but that would cause lots of issues right now.....Airports are underwater and too much storm debris in the water to make boat navigation safe.... Any donations for shipping items (water,food, clothing , personal care items, etc...) are being coordinated through the Headknowles Foundation who has the approval from NEMA for shipping.... As soon as I can get info for the right agency for cash donations. I'll update this post.....right now you can donate cash to www.sandalsfoundation.org (Sandals resorts)..... Please feel free to pass on to any local organizations that are planning relief efforts.... Trying to get the word out there to send donations the right way so they get there in a timely fashion...... @Gobi Wan K

Hey everyone,
I will be taking a boat over to the bahamas, as soon as we get clearance to do so. We currently have 2 dive boats that will be leaving out of west palm as soon as we are safely able to. We do not have a donation point as of yet because we dont have storage for donations. I will update the forum as soon as i have more info on it. right now its not the right time to head over as rescue operations are still trying to evacuate persons from the bahamas. Dont need to cause damage to the boats and become in need of rescue as well. Its hard to be patient as alot of us have friends and family that are in need of assistance. Thats all we can be at the moment. Thank you all for the willingness to help.
