I think off road such a small discrepancy between the two has little to no impact especially if adding or removing air from one or the other is possible. On road it’s not a perfect solution but I’m not concerned about getting a flat that’s too bad to plug and fill in less time than I could swap a spare on. I hit a mangled shopping cart at 70 mph two weeks ago and suffered zero damage to the bfgs. Even if I cut a tire down and it was catastrophi, I could certainly drive slowly on a mismatch long and slow enough to buy a new oneI see on here once and a while, people talk about using smaller diameter spares. I’ve always been under the impression that running two sizes on the same solid axle differential will wreck your gears, due to more rotations of the axle on the smaller tire side. Comments?
