Looking at adding back up lights, replacing fog lights and maybe something else. Trying to decide between Baja Designs or Diode Dynamics lights. Both seem good, well built products. Anyone have input on one versus the other? Pros, Cons, etc. Which brand would you go with?

in my opinion save your money and look at the Harbor Freight Road Shock Edge lights.
I have a Baja designs 10 inch light bar...didnt get the Harbor Freight one cause I thought it was ugly..lol, and got it on sale. I have the HF ditch lights, and the 4 led ones on the bumper, they have a high and low beam function and have amber led DRL feature except the ditch lights. I love them and saved a lot over the Baja Designs. I did use the BD plug and play wiring harness but the ones that come with the road shocks is pretty nice. I had the factory up fitter switches in mine which made wiring them up a breeze.

Any reason KC isn’t on the list? Mine are so amazing, and they really make solid stuff. Their customer service is amazing. I haven’t had any problems whatsoever, but have called regarding custom wiring to get specs and they’re fantastic at follow-up. They’re also rebuildable and you can either change lenses from spot, flood, combo, clear, amber, whatever. I’ve been super impressed with mine. Specifically I love their Flex Era 4 and 3 lights. I also have their small lights as bed lights. Here are some combos of how they look depending on covers and lenses.

I don’t have them, but they make these for flush mount backup lights, and have a few other options as well.

For reverse lights I went with Oracle rear bumper mounted LED Reverse Lights. There is a lot of well deserved dislike of Oracle but their reverse lights have worked great for me for over 2 years now. My LED headlights and Fogs are Diode Dynamics and they are a great company to work with. Their lights are extremely bright and work perfectly.

I agree. I’ve had oracle reverse lights since before I knew better, but they’ve continued to work. But I wouldn’t buy them again. I’d buy KC flex era 1 for reverse in the future. And will when they start to fail.

Agreed, if I had it to do again I'd go with the KC flex as well. I do feel like I've got my moneys worth out of the Oracles though

Me too. But I love lighting, and it’s hard to leave something the same way for long. The KC style is just way more me.

SD lighting lights are brighter than Baja Designs or Diode Dynamics. Cost about a third less. Built by Offroad racers for Off-roaders. They are huge in Offroad racing. They are now offering lights for Jeeps/Raptors etc. I’m running them on my Gladiator Mojave and my Can Am X3.

I’m sure they work great, but I don’t like the style. The cosmetics I think are a little rough.

Vision X makes a good kit to replace the rear reflectors also. Very stock looking with the factory LEDs.

The Oracle lights replace the reflectors in the rear bumper. The have a plug and play wiring pigtail. All very well designed and a heavy duty build.
