Got mine yesterday, plan on installing it this weekend. I was wondering about the seal on the front wall? My line-x is sprayed on the top part, wondering if I still should use the foam or not?The X4S delivered on Sunday, packaged really well. Install was quick and easy. I had to clean out some spray in bedliner material from the bolt holes, and cut away a plastic trim piece from the side rail to reveal the factory installed threaded holes. The aluminum side rails are not as heavy as I would like, but overall happy so far with the X4S.
I used the provided thick gasket on the front wall, but there was also included smaller rubber gaskets. I did not find what those were for. I thought they might be to place under the side rails of the bed cover, but the flange already has a gasket material. If the side rails leak, I guess I will take it apart and install the rubber gasket under the side rails.
Here are some pictures of the install. I bought this bed cover for the T rail feature. I am looking to add a versatile rack above for kayak / lumber hauling. Given the thin side rail material, I won't trust it with much load weight. The inside-to-inside dimension of the T rail is about 55 3/8", +/- 1/16". There is a little over 17" of height clearance under the bed cover.
