Hey all, I'm looking at upgrading the tires on my Sport S to 33's, with the stock rims. Looks like this can be done with no lift, without rubbing no problem. I'm currently looking at the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, mostly because they have that "snowflake" rating and I spend a majority of the year in the upper peninsula of Michigan for school (300 in of snow a year!!) Does anyone have experience with these in heavy snow? Ice? Other tire suggestions with great (GREAT not good!) performance in snow but also mild off roading capability?

I'm a bit confused about tire sizes, load ranges, ply, etc etc etc. Right now I'm looking at sizes LT285/70R17 or LT285/75R17. The 1st comes in load ranges C (6 ply) and E (10 ply) and the 2nd is slightly bigger in size which I like but only comes in load range E. I don't think I need a high load range (not really towing anything) and I remember seeing someone on here say E range sucks, but can't remember why. Can anyone explain?

And finally, how do the tire pressure sensors work? If I get new tires do these need to be replaced or...? I am new to Jeeps/trucks so all this tire stuff is confusing me. Any help is appreciated, thanks!!!
