Banned Members

Ok, I'm new around here and have been reading threads 'til my eyes hurt. I truly appreciate all the information and contributions found across the forum. One that's jumped out at me is the number of posts I come across that have the "Banned" strikeout across the user. Without naming anyone specific, is there a common pitfall around here that racks up so many Bans? I'm not new to forums and know to stay clear of politics, religion, Oil, and Glock threads - LOL.

Common pitfall is politics!
(Yes even small side jibes that may or may not be only understood by some folks)
Keep it out of the forum and be respectful. Everyones view matters, you don't have to share it, but don't hate on it. If you don't like something, move right on, do not start hating. Criticism, respectful and constructive, is great.

From what I can tell, if you lean one way in politics, the mods are chompping at the bit to find a reason to ban you.
