Did you stand on one foot for several minutes followed by jump through a few hoops while playing circus music in the background?I have a 2020 gladiator It was getting hard to start and noticed a red dot and a lightning bolt. I went ahead and change the battery and starts up fine, but now it seems it’s in limp mode. Does anybody have any suggestions?
I do recommend searching IBS, "Charging batteries ", ESS, "fuse array". You will learn what others have done and how to avoid having issues.
I wish there was a sticky for more detailed instructions.
ShadowsPapa has an awesome write up.I really wish there was a well written sticky post on this. There are so many battery posts here with so much information but all over the place.

Good tip - since some systems will always be drawing at least fractions of an amp, there may be a spark. The size will depend on how "awake" the truck is at the time.It is at your negative post on your main battery. It has a plastic connector on it. You will need to disconnect it while you change out your batteries. Be sure to charge your new batteries before you install them. Be careful not to touch any positive or negative cables to each other. The main ground is on your fender by the main battery. Don't be surprised to see sparks while disconnecting.

There are at least two administrators - Jay is the one I'm aware of. I don't know if there are any "moderators" like some other forums have. What do we gotta do to get that stickied. He’s offered so much regarding electrical issues.
