I feel like the one person disappointed in the BAK x4s 😆

after 2 years mine is not in great shape. But it’s mostly been outside under Texas heat during that time. The end caps near the tailgate a cheap plastic. I’ve had to email them for spare replacement before but one has already broke again.
I’ve more recently had a slate come completely off the top near the tailgate end after having had it rolled up for a few days.

if I did it again I’d just buy a diamondback.

I'm so sorry about the condition of your X4s. I know that's disappointing. It comes with a 5-year warranty against any manufacturer defects or flaws. Feel free to reach out to me any time and we can take a closer look at that for you.

any pics while using the t-slots and gear on top? Thx.
I am not there yet as far as stacking any gear on top of significant weight. It's aluminum, which I'm afraid any significant weight will bend it. So I'm hesitant to place anything on there other than lightweight items bungeed down like fishing rods and such. I believe there is some claims from the manufacturer that it can hold some weight dispersed (not sure on that number). But its aluminum which bends easier than steel, so I am cautious on that aspect. I'm just going to likely end up with some sort of rack system that fits with the Bak so I can load heavier items above and in the bed to accommodate a family of 4 and all our camping/travel gear. Plus if you put gear on the cover, you have to remove it to roll up and access everything in the bed. Which I need to do on a regular basis. So there's that. Every time we do a trip, even for several days, the bed is packed.
