So I snagged a tazer and this feature is pretty awesome. It is the perfect solution to the problem without using an aux button, etc. The inclusion of the reverse lights is also pretty sweet. I will probably re-wire my VisionX rear bumper lights to the reverse circuit and remove them from an aux button as I could turn them on with the fob when needed.
I was thinking I’d do the same thing with the new Oracle lights I just bought!

I’m aware how proximity locks work and have them, thanks lol.

Not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is why isn’t there one of those on the tailgate handle like other trucks. Why do I have to walk up to one of the front doors and then walk back to the tailgate?
I am with you! i know this is a 1st world problem, but i often go to the tailgate to drop off stuff in the bed before i get in the truck. yes, one could say that it is only a few steps up to the door... but this is kind of a half-measure. hell, i kind of get annoyed that i need to touch the driver door handle before i open the driver rear door to put my bag and work stuff in my truck in the morning. I wonder why all five doors don't have this feature.

I haven't had this jeep for a week and i am completely loving some of the conveniences. i'm getting soft quickly! heated seats and heated steering wheels are a must-have from here on out.
