I'm prepping my bed for LineX application tomorrow. There are four hard plastic plugs in the bed. Two small ones in the floor on the drivers side and two large ones in the front wall. What do these gain access to? For those with factory bed liner, has it been sprayed over these plugs? Should I be concerned with entombing them in LineX? Being hard plastic I'm not sure how they come out without damage. Seem pretty tight.

I believe I read some where they are mounting points. Mine were covered with LINE-X. If you are concerned just ask your installer.

Mine got covered by Line-X also. I do not know what they are for. There are drains cut in the bed at the front so clearly they aren't meant to be drain holes. Who knows?

I don't think they are of importance. The small ones in the floor are merely plugging holes and can be seen from underneath the bed. Definitely not access to any fasteners.
The two in the front bed wall center with the larger cutouts in the cab rear wall. The cab cutouts I believe are airbag deployment vents. Can't see a reason not to coat over these bed plugs either.
Also found two soft rubber plugs behind the lower front swivel rings. These are easily removed so I'll pull those.

To add to this question...I had linex sprayed in and the linex installer removed the 2 plugs by the tie down hooks and did not reinstall them. Is this a water issue should I attempt to retrieve the plugs?

My LE with the factory liner has them covered up. I figure these are mounting or assembly points. No need for common access, just cut the liner if you do.

I have the factory liner and while I'm not sure, I don't think mine has them.

The factory liner is over those Plugs in mine. Now that I see then it makes more sense I thought they did a crappy job on my factory liner. It looks like they pooled the line where the four floor plugs are.

I just had my bed line-x'ed Monday. I pulled out the floor and the bulkhead plugs. With my luck I was afraid the day would come when I need to pull them if I sprayed over them. The bulkhead plugs went right back in no problemo; floor plugs not so much. I will probably have to dremel them down or find replacements. If you have or plan to install a hard cover like the tri-folds, the drain for the tracks normally punches through the two bulkhead plugs.

Mine came with a factory liner and those holes open. I used them to route the drain tubes for my tonneau instead of drilling new ones
