So I took her out mudding yesterday and let the girlfriend drive. She took a bad line off a steep drop and banged a little area of the lower rocker area. My question is should I try to bend it back or just leave it? The paint isn't chipped or flaking off so I'm inclined to just leave it and maybe bolt on some proper protection over it. My neighbor said I can bend that back out in 5 minutes and you'll never know it was there. So I'm hoping to get some opinions on it.

Bend it back, touch it up, forget about it until the next time. Hammerhead Offroad makes a pinch seam guard if you feel like you need to cover it up.

Thanks man. Now I know what it's called. I had never heard that term.
