I’m in the Southern part of the state and don’t see any snow.

My AT3s had chunks and cracking in between the tread which got the warranty credit from DT towards my Toyo RT Trails.

You can see it here.

The AT3s seemed to lose traction and squeal after a while around my neighborhood roundabouts which to me would equate to loss of traction in snow.

Just my $0.02.
I imagine because they are a 3 peak rated tire they are softer. More prone to ripping lugs. No BOH trails for me. Nothing to crazy. Setup is more for camping and getting to remote campsites. Yeah rocks happen it's a toss up between those and the nitto recon grappler. Trying to stay on the lighter side of tires. My Falken tires have been awesome in the snow and rain. No complaints except that 35s are heavy otherwise I'd go that route.

I've had KO2 AT, Falken Wild Peak MT, and currently Falken AT. The KO2s tread pattern really pick up rocks...I mean bad. The Falkens did not do that. The Falken MT were good, but a bit noisy...but I like that in a Jeep. The Falken ATs, are very much like the KO2, but do not sling rocks nearly as bad. Hard to pick a favorite, but when I wear out my stock, I'll probably go with Falken ATs again, but in 35s.

That's because the KO2 is a better road tire, it has a tighter tread pattern than the falken's do and is way better in the rain than the falken is. It also grips better on rocks than the falken's do, comparing A/T to A/T. The KO2 just runs much smaller than the Falkens do.
