I'm going to drive about 3000 miles over the Thanksgiving holiday to visit friends/relatives. My current setup, Bridgestone Revo 3's in 315/7-17 Load E is great for everyday driving/weekend trail riding.
I'm thinking of picking up a takeoff set of wheels and tires specifically for this trip. They're failry cheap around here and I'm thinking the lighter weight/smoother ride will help immensely on the road trip. I'm down to 3 sets and just wanted to get opinons from those who actually use them if possible:
1. Overland takeoffs (Bridgestone Deuler HT's)
2. Sport takeoffs (Bridgestone Dueler AT's)
3. Wrangler Sahara takeoffs Bridgestone Dueler At's)
I'm sure the road mannerisms are fairly similiar but I'm leaning to the Overland takeoffs as I like the visual aspect and think the HT's will ride better. Opinons? Save the $$ for gas money and enjoy the more bouncy ride of the current setup?
