Unfortunatedly I can not share pictures rigth now, but there is plenty space to relocate main battery, or, install an additional battery behind rear rigth wheel well. I have installed ther a yellow top optima battery and fits perfectly. I have used the side rock protection 3 screws, to support the base I built for the battery, and the battery is completely concealed.

That's been done by a forum member who posted pictures of the bracket he made, the connections and what he used to connect things together.
But for him, it's not to supplement the main/crank battery, it's a "house battery" for his stuff in the truck.
Best to use a DC/DC system and not just connect them together.

I agree this has been done before, but the one that I saw was not completely concealed, part of the battery was visible from outside.

I'll see if I can find his post again. I'm pretty sure it was way up there out of site, and likely, there's been 2 or 3.
I'd prefer any extra battery to be well outside of any danger zone for ice, snow, rocks, crap tossed at it, whatever.
I'd likely totally enclose anything I did due to the way the salt sprays on things in the winters here - bad for discharging batteries and causing massive corrosion.
