Hey guys. Just had my first "Jeep Wave" service (good experience overall so far), and they "corrected" the PSI in my 285/70r17 BFG k02s up to 38. Seems a little high to me. To be fair, I did just drive 500 miles or so this weekend so it probably helped my MPG.

What PSI would you recommend for best wear and comfort with this tire specifically? Secondarily, could anyone with this tire tell me how far you air down for things like beach driving? Thanks!!

Dealers usually put my Falken's to 38 or even 41. I think they ride better around 35. You could just let it fix itself over the next 6 months, or air down a bit.

(Sorry, I know this doesn't answer your KO2 question, but its common for shops to put in more air than we like.)

Just installed my new KO2's last month after taking delivery of my '22 JTM. Stock LT285/70R17 size. Tire dealer inflated to 41 PSI on day one. Too much for me. Reduced to 36 PSI. Perfect in my opinion. Rides SO much better. I can't answer your long term treadwear question at this point as I have logged only 450 miles. Love these tires. :like:

Chalk test. Other guy's trucks may weigh 400lbs more than yours with racks, winches etc. No PSI to rule them all.

I run 36. I played around and I prefer how it rides like this.

I can't say much as to wear pattern. But frankly I dont' care if I get 45,000 miles instead of 50,000 miles out of the original tires. I'm looking for an excuse to buy 35s.
