Coupla questions for the group:

1. Does anyone plan to put the carpet back? I took mine out and imagine it'd be a real PITA to reinstall. Please let me know if it's not a big deal as it might be nice to have in the colder months.
2. I took my hardtop off with doors off and love it. I put the Freedom Panels back on for shade and some rain protection, but still get wet as the Panels don't extend quite far enough. Does anyone have a recommendation for sun/rain protection that could be easily removed to maximize the open-air feel?
3. The truck bed is kinda full with the Freedom Panels and all four soft doors. Does anyone have a system to keep it organized and easily accessible?

And FYI my rear soft doors still did not fit properly, even after I spent $150 worth of time at the local off-road shop where they crammed them on only to not close again. Bestop suggests they'll send me another set but it'll take a couple of weeks. I appreciate the manager/supervisor I've dealt with there but otherwise the experience has been dreadful...

I personally don't. I just can't see my self going through all the work to put it back.

Do you have rubber floor mats? I actually put my weathertech mats back in, they still clipped in like they always do. Its kind of nice, I still have coverage that looks almost like what I had before, but without those pesky few spots water liked to get on the carpet.

Figured Id post my experience after I have had these on my truck for the past couple of months. I have readjusted them several times to get them the way I like them. If anyone has perfected the bends to do faster speeds let me know.

Cons:
1. Top speed 65 MPH (or the tops of the doors start to get pulled open.) crosswinds and drafts of other vehicles going highway speed cause this to happen slower.

2. Loud, I know this is obvious but a 2 hour highway drive without doors is pleasant. But 30mins with these is not.

3. Leaks and air gaps. I don’t have a garage, rain leaks a tiny bit. But I have more issues with dust, spiders and the occasional rodent getting in from the bottom.

Pros:

1. Modular, nice to have uppers, halfdoors and a window.

2. So easy and fast the throw in the bed of the truck. Less than a minute both ways. Pull them off in my driveway, drive to work out them back on. Keeps most of the dust out and I don’t worry about pop-up showers.

3.Overall when adjusted they keep the rain out very well.

today we had an hour long downpour and thunderstorm. A little water got in and ran under the driver floormat into the carpet, probably from the wind.

Totally worth buying especially if you don’t have a garage like me.

open up those drain holes. I too love my soft doors, but I keep my drain plugs open all summer and only close them when the real doors come out in the fall.

I saw the notice of the update and just logged in to see. Interesting enough I sold my Gladiator in October and just picked up a Ram Rebel from Criswell in Maryland. I still have the fabric doors for both the front and rear doors. I decided to wait till spring to sell them, no one wants them in January in NY.

I did go with the mirrors mentioned for when doorless, but then went to a different mirror mounted on the doors because when towing with the soft doors I couldn't see anything out the mirrors because the passenger side door blocked it.

If your interested in buying them I'd sell the front and backs with the mirrors. All in excellent condition.

So I had the same issues with attaching mirrors to the doors. Bestop recommends the newer TJ mirror of which the base covers the Velcro. I sent the mirrors back and installed the older version tj mirror. These just clear the Velcro as the mirror footprint is smaller. Good thing is the mounting holes are in the same location. While they were helpful in trying to resolve the problem, Bestop needs to do a better job QCing their products.
