I worked at an off road shop and have run Toyos, Nittos, BFGs, Kendas, and goodyears all in AT flavor (excludes all the MTs/competition tires I've run as well). There's a reason BFG has survived through the years with the industry reputation they have, and it's not just because they have dealer contracts. The KO2s are a solid AT tire that typically gets excellent thread life and mediocre off-road performance (just like 98% of the other AT Tires on the market).
I don't have as much experience with the XT tires that have come out recently, and if I were to look at another set of tires I would probably look at a few of them given how my needs change.
