First time Jeep owner, picked up my Gladiator Overland last week. Would like to get some cross rails of some sort and put three bikes across, with gear underneath. Would prefer to stay away from a hitch rack. I do not have the Mopar trail rails. Would prefer to keep the bike tires on. What would be some good options? I see so many different options, etc. Thanks for the help, this forum provides a ton of information.

I had the same wants as you, only with 2 bikes at a time. I wanted wheel on so I didnt have to worry about different thru axel sizes between road and mountain bikes.

I followed this thread for a DIY trail rail system

Then I picked up a the kb voodoo feet and cross bars.

And then what ever bike racks you want. I went with Yakima High Roads.

I will post pictures later. I forgot to take the after photos.
The KB crossbars are 3inches wide and an inch deep. The mounting straps that came with the racks was not long enough, so I bolted the racks to the crossbars.

Looks great. The Voodoo cross bars say they will work without the trail rail. I might go that route.

Looks ideal. Curious, how far back can you roll the tonneau with the kb voodoo set up?

The roll up tonneau cover can be rolled back with the voodoo mounts, but it is more difficult and time consuming, with the crossbars installed. I wish the mounting feet were about 2 inches taller, then it would be very easy.
