As a silver owner myself I think it definitely looks better and makes the silver pop.

OK cool - I saw in your earlier post that you had silver surrounds and then now all black - was wondering if you did it yourself. May try plastidip myself and save $$ or perhaps rustoleum rattle can bedliner (I use it on steel wheels for my landrover and it works great - matt and texttured matches my bull bar and some other accents). Anyway thanks - your rig looks great and I agree that the all black grill on billet silver is very cool. MY JT is ordered - supposed to arrive in late December so I may copy your look : )

Yes I did it my self, it’s a little tedious but I would rate it a 1 on a scale of 11. Eleven being holy sh#t why did I do this!.

Looks rad bulldog. I dig the look. I like the mini hoop too on the bumper, been trying to figure out which one would look good on silvertruck. This one is sharp.

I get it. My wife doesn't hate mine, but she's not a fan either. The Rubi is just too hard for her to get into. Plus, she was spoiled by the ride my 2016 F150 had. Hope they both come around

My wife is used to my 2003 Discovery - I added "heavy duty" lift springs made by a UK company called terra firma. Basically they assume you have a steel bull bar and winch up front, steel rear bumper and swing arm carrier, and that you are carrying a constant load on top of that of about 200KG (450ish lbs). I have the front bumper and carry about half that load, but I've also removed the seats. Point is - it rides like an old school F350. When I test drove the JT she commented on how smooth and plush it felt. Its all about perspective

I'm picking this up TONIGHT!!! 6MT, Mopar 2in, ProComp polished wheels, and a smittybilt SRC Gen 2 bumper (ordered, paid for, not installed yet, b/c damaged in shipping?). Photos below are of my last hunting trip with my old rig (at the SD border west of Marshall on the last day of pheasant season), side by side with my old rig, and the new rig up in the air getting its lift. Fury Motors in Stillwater has been AMAZING! I can't wait to do this trip next fall in the JT!!!

Here it is - newest addition to the Silver Billet Club. 6MT. Mopar 2in. Yokohama
GEOLANDAR M/T G003 35x12.5 on ProComp 7069's. I know polished is a bit out of left field, especially on a billet silver, but I wanted something that reminded me of the cool jeeps I drooled after when I was a kid. And all the coolest jeeps back then (think late 70s and early 80s) had polished alloy wheels (and polished tube bumpers and KC highlighters in chrome...). I'm not doing anything else shiny and I may regret having to polish the wheels occasionally, but that's OK. Hats off to Glad Grampa https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...a-firecracker-red-le-build.17570/#post-262172 as I was a bit on the fence about the polished wheels and they look awesome on his build on a firecracker red JTR. Anyway - looking forward to posting more when my rig gets its first coat of Gobi
