From the moment I knew I was getting a JT, the look I wanted is the Black Rhino Armory wheels. I saved up enough for a set, along with some Toyo Open Country AT3's. I wanted to keep the money local to Wisconsin, so I bough through Extreme Custom's Wheels For Warriors program (located in Oshkosh, WI) and got a decent price. My experience with Extreme Customs is a topic for another thread once... if... I ever get my wheels. My problem is the buyers remorse I'm having before I even get the things. I know that for every one bad review there are likely 10 times as many people who had no issues at all, but I'm seriously starting to get this gut feeling I made a bad decision buying these wheels. I'm reading so much about how they're heavy, prone to rust, and the plastic parts break off. Are these wheels really that bad? Is Black Rhino's customer service really as bad as I'm reading for warranty claims if/when I have these issues?
Is there anybody here in the frozen north that can talk me off this ledge? I can probably cancel before I get these, spend the money on some Mojave take offs I found in the area, and spend the difference on a cool bumper and winch.
Thanks in advance for any advice from people who actually have these wheels.
