So I had an issue with my Driver Door last week and it was a bent pin on the connector after having the doors off, corrected it no problem. Now, my passenger door has the issue but the pins are good and it wont go away no matter how many times I disconnect and reconnect the plug. Any help appreciated. I feel this was a poor design as why make something so susceptible to fault that is going to be repeatedly take on and off? is there a way to just disable the blind spot function and get that orange light to go away on my mirror???

Still no fix, going to take this thing to the dealership this weekend for my oil change so I will get them to have a look while I am there.

I know this thread is a few years old, but I'm curious if your dealer was able to correct the issue and if it was covered under warranty? I just had the hinges replaced on my Gladiator and the driver's side blind spot monitor is now only working some of the time. I haven't had a chance to pull the harness yet, but had a feeling that they might have bent a pin.

Sort of similar issue here. BSM mirror warning lights go on 5-15 minutes into the drive and stay on. On both mirrors. No bent pins as far as I can tell. Prior to that BSM works fine. Been doing research, but cant find a solid solution.

ok, so after 6 months of testing, swapping Aux battery, and few other experiments. I finally figured the issue was what everyone was telling me it was: connector pins. Driver side door. None of pins were bent, but i guess some weren't making full contact all the time, and would randomly error. so i kept bending them slightly one way , test for a week, than test bending them slightly other way. finally i think I'm at the stage where Blind spot been working uninterrupted for week. I guess Im never taking these doors off again.. don't want to deal with this issue. For a part that is meant to get regular use, these connectors are not made well. Someone needs to manufacture some sort of QD adapter that is more robust.
