So, my jt didn't come with the optional b.t. speaker. Curious what y'all use thatsy fit in the same convenient spot, would work well for camping, tailgating, picnic, etc etc. I really like the idea, but adding the jeep one late appears to suck and be expensive. Also, heard the speaker has a hard time staying connected.

So, what solutions you got??

Bose Soundlink mini 2 is my preferred choice - exceptional sound and a nice deep base for its size. Pricier option (still less than the one from the Jeep plant) but if sound quality is important to you, this one shouldn’t disappoint.

A JBL flip 2 I picked up for $20 if I’m someplace my Bose may get damaged or grow legs. Absolutely best $20 spent on a Bluetooth speaker. This is the one that goes to work with me; sounds good for $50 and even better for $20, I’ve beat the crap out of it and have left it in my truck through summers and winters and it still keeps going and sounds good.

I have far too many Bluetooth speakers than any person should have, including one that looks like an oil lamp with working light and dial dimmer, but these are the only two I’ll replace with their current counterpart when they crap out.

Do any of them have a convenient location, like the jeep one would have?

How does it fit in the original spot? Or where do you keep it?
If you don't have the factory bluetooth speaker, there's a nice tray back there that it fits in. It's also small enough to fit under any of the seats.

Where do you keep it at in jeep?
I just checked and it almost fits, not all the way, but it does hold it.
My wife bought me a JBL Flip 4, but I can’t find it. I think it fits all the way. I have a teenager and he has friends, so I can’t find things quite often.
