I will make one. I am still working on some details.:lipssealed: I will say that it does have a hard shell roof making it the smallest footprint camper to have a solid roof panel.

While this is looking GREAT...I’m REALLY disappointed that it’s going to cost me about $60,000. It’s like those “If you Give a Moose a Muffin” kids books.

Gotta be garageable. So i’ll need a new garage with a taller door. Since I’d be adding a new Garage I’ll have to add more pavement or a slab to the end of the driveway. Since I’m adding to the driveway, I might as well redo the driveway as well. Since I’m redoing the driveway, I might as well have it regraded. Once the driveway is regraded I’ll be able to drive up it with a car that doesn’t have much ground clearance. Commuter? Toy? Shoot...stupid rack is approaching 6 figures

I'm not quite in the same boat, but I want to add a 3rd stall to my house now to store Gladys and all of her accessory top items. Women are EXPENSIVE! Even automotive ones.

Well it it is a modular design. And will have a quick release option to the flat rack leaving you with only needing about 2 inches of clearance. I also have another design option in which this becomes incorporated into a solid bed cover still giving the option to stack on top. You would even have the ability to have 2 of these mounted. One on the roof and one on the bed. I have thought about this design to make it as flexible and functional as possible

Anything new on this lately?
Yes this project is still very much alive. After SEMA I slowed down on it. Ski season was coming up fast and I am a ski instructor on weekends so my winter priority kicked in. Still chasing the snow. Just got back from Killington and headed to Jay in a couple weeks. Once that trip is over then its back to the camper project. Unfortunately I did not get a Gladiator to put it on although it was designed to fit one. I picked up a a 2015 JK Sahara. Of course I will have to add a graphics to it as well. Here is a sneak peek. More to come as I sadly say good bye to winter.

So as my ski season has come to a grinding halt do to all of this corona stuff going down. I got a chance to just chill this weekend and start back on my camper project. The only difference is my test mule is now a JK. Here is the new JK Sahara.

I also scored a hardtop. The camper rack is going to fit even better on the JK than the JT.

The next thing I picked up was the Rhino rack backbone system. I did not get the crossbars since I will be customizing this to fit my rack.

Now being furloughed do to this Virus I have been trying to keep myself busy. Been getting work done around the house and on the jeep when the weather allows. I decided to go with a 2 tone paint on the hardtop. White textured paint on the sides and leave the top black textured. Next will be the Rhino backbone system. I am working on customizing the brackets on top. The only thing that I don’t like on the backbone system is each bracket has only 1 bolt to secure the rack. I am going to change this and add 2 more bolts per bracket. This way there will be 3 bolts per each bracket. I will post more on this later. I am also making my own mounts to work with the customized brackets.
