As for appearance its my favorite one. Not too basic & squared off, but not gaudy either.. A good overall balance I feel.
Oh I’ve seen it and I love it. But the problem with it is that of you want to keep the spare under the truck then your fucked with anything bigger then a 35.. That bumper actually makes the available space smaller then stock so no bueno.. Honestly if you could hold a 37 I’d of already ordered it even with the stupid high price. I found a stock rubicon rear with the side protection local so I’ve got that on now and until something comes out that I love without compromise I’ll use this bumper. And If nothing comes out then when I get enough of my other shit complete I’ll make one.
Yea I get that. I don't plan on anything bigger than 35s so not as big of an issue for me. Put 37s on my JKUR and Powerwagon and it always seems to be on the threshold ruining daily drivability without spending a ton of money of joints, suspension, gearing, axles, etc.
I just put both in my cart with powdercoating as the only option. ~$570 cheaper to go exp 1. I'm almost talking myself into that being reasonable enough to pull the trigger.
So per Rugged Ridge theirs should be available through retailers by the end of this week. When I talked to them about it months ago they said it would have the side protection & steps at the corners. If its modeled similar to the JL's rear HD I would be interested in it. Its got a good clean look. And the RR price is normally lower then most and with 3rd party retailers shipping should be less as well.
Kinda wear I am at.. After seeing the high clearance ones @HiCentered & @TJ Mitchell Films have come up with I am not in a huge hurry anymore. They are both so much more functional then anything you can buy its just a matter of time before one of these boutique brands makes one that I like. That or I will sweet talk HiCentered into helping after I get the right size spare underneath so I know what I want will fit.
