The need to change the front driveshaft is specific to shock extended length, not lift height. One could have a 2 inch lift with 30 inch shocks that needs a driveshaft vs a 3 inch lift with 28 inch shocks that don’t need a driveshaft.

All I want is a better street ride. I was told by a honest and knowledgeable person that the geo brackets will do that better and for much less $$$. Other than they hang down about 2.5 inches from the rear CA bracket I see no down side to them. I had them on a '14 JK that I lifted 4 inches and they really helped the ride. Looks like I will be looking at them again. Question,,, I have 18.25 inches from the front rear CA bolt center to the ground. The front shock bolts are 22.5 inches apart at ride hight. How much lift do I have? Where can I find that info.

Measure in this location. 10 7/8" should be stock rubicon height. Drop brackets up front are the biggest improvement to ride quality we've made on our 3.5" lifted JLUR on 39s. If you want to smooth out the side to side head toss we get, a rear upper triangulated 4 link kit that eliminates the rear track bar will really help. The rock krawler kit is waiting to go on my JT mojave when I have time, along with the evo front geo brackets. The brackets hitting obstacles is far less of an issue than some believe. Not only have we never been hung up on them, they don't have a scratch and we've run Holcomb creek and John Bull with no spotting.

I installed Terra flex long arms on my wife’s 22 Wrangler and my 23 gladiator…… not that hard if you could read and follow directions. Almost Rides like a trophy truck. If you’re thinking about doing it in my personal opinion, you’re a FOOL if you do not go through with it. If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM and then we could talk on the phone and I’ll tell you my experience installing it. Wife’s wrangler has the terra flex falcon shocks and my gladiator has the Rebel coil over set up. Party On!

Sidebar question: what brand are those red tall jack stands in the front of your JT? Those are exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks

Forgot the brand, but I bought them on Amazon little over a year ago. They were about 700 bucks plus for four of them, but the price has gone down a fair amount today..

Just watched a long U tube of installing a long arm kit with all bolt on brackets. Cut off all factory brackets. I really do like the idea of long arms but not really sold on cutting off all the solid factory brackets and going to all bolt on brackets. Seems like you are asking for pops and noise down the road. Are the bolt locations really going to be strong enough down the road. I know that a long arm rides better but at what cost?
I used to think, NEVER BOLT ON! But over the years... seeing bolt on stuff work, and then well... think about it, everything on your Jeep is bolt on! lol... Yeah some brackets are welded, but I don't think that necessarily means it's stronger or better, it's just different. Maybe it's easier for the factory? Maybe it's cheaper for them? Maybe a combo of stuff... but I wouldn't stay away from a bolt on set up just cause it's bolt on...

I've had bolt on and weld on long arm brackets before, properly torqued and lock tite, lubed, etc where need be, everything was fine on both...
