Bought a JOOSE Mojave

My dealer must have gotten lucky the Joose was delivered to them on 7/23/2025. On 7/24/2025 they took it out of shipping mode for my the test drive. I bought it the next day so it wasn't on their lot for very long.

Using autotrader.com, there is only 1 Joose Mojave JT that I can see that's actually on the dealership lot within 300 miles from me in Southern California. Jooses will be a rare breed and especially in the Mojave trim.

Our Joose JL was brought up from San Diego.

Uhm…what gear?, I found everything I needed on the rig to tell the sales guy, I’m leaving at 5AM tomorrow morning with a cashiers check made out to the dealership, got it done at my bank this morning. So, I’ll let You know what I’m driving back home end of day tomorrow. Figured this way, I do quite a bit of desert time, so I think JTM will fit just fine. Oh, and it’s going real slow right now(their not selling very many right now) so a perfect time to strike especially it‘s the dealership month end tomorrow!

I used Autotrader, which clearly has a lower volume of dealer participation than DealerConnect. I just threw out a quick reference point that indeed Joose volume is limited.

I didn't mean to steal any thunder Dirk. I use the locate tool a lot when I'm bored at work, just to see what other dealerships have available

Wished I ever had time to be bored at work. My project list was always soooo long, then people would break things or do dumb stuff and I had to fix it and do troubleshooting for people 2 grades above my pay.

Still haggling…I told them I’m taking a dinner break, invited the head finance guy, and disinvited the sales puke, Zero value, doesn’t even know the product. The controllers look on his face was prefect, took him tens minutes to say yes to dinner. Oh, the leather seat in the JTM feel way above the leather quality of past couple of years. Almost soft in comparison. Stay tuned…

NOPE, I didn’t buy the 25 JTM, the final proposed $difference was not strong enough for my 2020…told the Controller I’ll give my 2020 JT to a grandchild before I’d let him steal it. The hunt will continue when more of what I want is more readily available.

Odd, when I was looking at trading, I measured frame to ground on JTs as the height was a concern for my snow plow. I found the Mojave to ride about the same height as a Rubicon. It was only about 1/8" taller than my Overland which I had lifted to the same height as a Rubicon.

Since it wasn't discussed further... I know there's a lot of variances in the packages Jeep and the dealers end up selling that change things, but here are the numbers from the 2025 Jeep info:

I'm thinking the Mojave just has a higher front end than Rubicon. The tallest overall height is still listed as Rubicon.
