Bought an OBD reader, no check engine light on my car or anything, but I have a bunch of faults

Hello! Bought a topdon OBD reader. overall good reviews and so i thought id give it a spin in all of my cars. all of my cars have 0 faults, but my 2020 jeep gladiator has 10 different faults.

when i drill into all of the "DTCs" there only seems to be 1 that is highlight red as "current"

so it looks like maybe only 1 real fault? can anyone point me in the right direction on whether or not i should be worried about these? thank you!

FWIW I was having issue with my key fob range, and its been 5 years since i swapped out the car batteries so I did that about 2 weeks ago. and about 2 weeks ago i also had my cluster die on me, but i got that fixed. but besides that everything seems good to go.

Does your center stop lamp actually work? It seems to be a high driving complaint of failure.

As to your other codes, they may have been cascading codes from the battery change you did.

That being said, there is codes that will set the MIL on the dash and there is codes stored in the modules that are latent and only for reference. Many times if you do mods, especially to anything related to lighting, there many times will be codes set because you are outside factory parameters but nothing that affect driveability that will set a MIL.

heh. i didnt even know a center stop lamp was a thing
indeed it seems like its out. so i guess ill look up how to fix that.

I would still stick a multimeter on the connector looking for voltage, but 99% sure it is going to be the whole lamp assembly as it is somewhat of a common failure at least for the early Gladiators.

You can access the backside taking off the long inner tailgate panel.

I've got the same thing going on with my 3rd brake light. I just dropped my JT off at the dealer to have it replaced. It should be covered under my extended warranty for the $100 deductible, otherwise I would replace it myself. Lot's of good info out there, but posting a few here if others need to reference it:

I replaced mine 2 years ago. Way cheaper than the $100 deductible you referenced. Super easy project. Hit up @allmoparparts and they’ll set you up.
