I am new to the gladiator. I have noticed a couple things and just want to check with you guy and see if it’s normal. On startup sometimes I can feel a vibration or if I’m in park I can also feel it. No so much in the steering wheel but more in the seats. Also I have noticed at speeds over 30 I feel a almost bouncy feel to the jeep. I have 285/70/17s on a sport s with no lift or mods. Thanks!

Doesn't sound normal. Take it to the dealership.

I had the shakey in the seat as you described when in Park. There’s two things that run when the vehicle is running and sitting in Park. Obviously the engine and the second thing is the transmission pump.

The bouncy travelling is the way the gladiator shocks/coils are so some shock upgrades I’m sure will fix that. That’s not a concern. The shakey feeling at idle is.
What is your MILAGE on h Sport S? Auto, I’m assuming?

Yes I only have 1100 miles. Just got it. I used to have a liberty renegade years ago and it was kind of shakey as well. Just didn’t know if it was me because I can be hyper aware of sounds shakes lol. The trans pump is interesting didn’t know that.

Listen for a “whine”. You don’t have to be moving. Bounce the rpm up and down to 2000 and listen. It’s early if it’s your pump. I didn’t start hearing a whine till 20k kms. At 24k kms I pulled an oil sample from the transmission and it showed glycol contamination from the factory. My transmission imploded at 32k km. I would strongly recommend doing an oil sample on everything but absolutely for the transmission. Then you’ll know for sure and best plan what to do, but oil sample and lab test every component.

I don’t hear a whine. It could be attributed to freezing/below freezing conditions since I’ve had it.
