Installed the Mopar trailer brake kit last week and had the Christmas tree dash when I activate it, early 2019 build. Took the truck in for an oil change today and they did the TSB update on the ABS for the trailer brake kit. TSB 08-102-20. Trailer brake kit is working good now however. 3 separate times today while sitting at a stop with my foot on the brake, the pedal went all the way to the floor and the BRAKE and ABS light lit up on the dash. After about 15 seconds they turned off and the pedal felt normal again.

Anyone else had this happen? Not happy right now. This has never happened before the TSB was done today.

I would give it 24 hours and see if it continues to happen. If so, give the system a full reboot (disconnect both batteries) and give it another 24 hours. If it continues, take it to the dealer and see what they can find.

I have a 2019 model and tried to get the TSB done. They wouldn't do it because I have not yet installed the brake controller.

I had the same experience with dealer as well. They insisted that the TSB can only be done if there is a TBC installed (Mopar or aftermarket). @JeepCares: Can you confirm this is indeed the eligibility criteria for this TSB?

I'm pretty sure they will come back and say yes. They were involved in the process of trying to get the TSB done for me.

Thanks for the replies guys, it’s the tazer mini causing it. There is a setting in the new firmware called brake hold. I turned it off and the issue is resolved.

If you push and hold the pedal to the floor when you release the brake pedal it holds you in place. New setting in the tazer menu that was automatically on after firmware update. I always take the tazer out and update it before a dealer trip, so the timing of it was perfect lol
