None at all, worked flawlessly. I actually keep in in my camper as a backup incase for what ever reason my Mopar one poos the bed.
Good to know, $289 was what they are selling it for at the place. About the same price everywhere else except Amazon had it for $226.

The Curt Bluetooth worked great for me. Easy swap from vehicle to vehicle. Select the setup you want and go. I also like the panic button as an add on. That way if you get a little trailer sway you don't need to turn you phone display back on to apply the brake.

They got a panic button, it's Bluetooth as well? I know very little about brake controllers, sorry for asking newbie questions. I have only pulled trailers without them installed

Yes the button is bluetooth. I have a built in controller in my Silverado and a dash mounted in my Excursion. The Curt Bluetooth is just as easy as the two other types I have.

I have a S23 phone and there was a small hang up installing the app, but it worked itself out. Instruction are for Android and Apple.

One of the things l liked most was I didn’t actually need to turn my phone on curt echo. Once you said it once you never have to turn your phone or the app on for it to function unless you want to use the in app, panic button or change your settings.

for example, my mother just wrapped up her first year pulling a camper and I had got her the curt Echo. We worked to set it up while practicing pulling and backing in a parking lot and then all she has to do is put it into her seven pin connector, and then attach the trailer power cable to the echo and go. to my knowledge, she hasn’t actually used the app once since we set it up. Shes got a little rpod 153 that she pulls with her ridgeline

Nice, we had originally put a deposit on a Jayco 199mbs but they ended up adding in a cost of $4600 to the bottom line and at first claimed it was for the stabilizer and brake controller but I called them out on that price. Then they came back and said something got coded wrong dropped it to $1000 for both. I ended up backing out of the deal because I felt like if I went into without research and didn't know the price they would have did the deal at the cost. The guy got real sarcastic when I was calling him out on it.

Long story short we now are buying a Grand design imagine 18bh. It's a 2023 and weighs about 800lbs less than the Jayco plus it's new so it's got the full warranty on it. It's plenty for what we will use it for and it's basically gonna be the wife and I and 2 grandkids mainly. I am excited for sure.

Does the Honda do well pulling the Rpod, that makes me feel good about pulling the Grand design with the JT. I've had anxiety over the gas mileage but I'm gonna have to get past that. Here are few pictures of the Grand design and the specs.

nice looking camper! My wife and I always joke that had we gotten one with bunks first wed still be in our original trailer. That out side griddle will be fantastic. I recently pulled my outside two burner cook top and modified the drawer to work with a greystone griddle. No matter the weather I cook on it outside for basically every meal.

That entire interaction with the sales person sounds like camping world pressure sales and hidden fees BS to me haha I had one dealing with them and had a similar experience.

The place is called Blue Compass in Concord NC. We originally went to Sonny's RV in Concord which is now owned by Blue Compass. The one we are getting is the the one we saw at Sonny's. The sales guy called me when I was about to go sign the deal on the Jayco and asked If we are still interested in the Grand Design. When I told him we had a deal worked out on the Jayco at another one of there locations he looked the deal up and pointed out the $4600 fee added in and asked me about it. That's how I found out. Seems like they were trying to get over and yeah Camping World sucks. We went there as well And I'll never buy anything from them. The Sonny's Bluecompass location experience has been awesome

I went with Redarc and installed it where the accessory switches go. I ordered a switch cluster and plate with the cutout for the Redarc from a guy on Etsy.

What you guys using for tow mirrors. I'm thinking about ordering these because they look the most stock that I have seen but if you guys got something better I'm curious. $70 does seem to high to me.

Just towed about 6 miles from the dealership to the house and the Gladiator dar exceeded my expectations. 4 on the brake controller seemed to be the sweet spot and honestly other than a some slight bounce when I hit a few bumps, it almost felt like nothing was back there. 4086lbs dry weight. Might throw my max tow shocks back on and see if they are a better ride than the fox Rubicon shocks. Thanks for all the advice.

You could do Air Lift 1000 Air Bags to help with the sag. Model #60830.
Air Lift 1000 Air Suspension Kit 60830. That's what I did to mine and it helps a lot. Installation can be a pain if you decide to do it on the ground without taking the springs off like I did. Amazon says it does not fit a Gladiator but this is actually for the Gladiator.
