So I got my gladiator (2020) about a year ago.

It has a bit of a lift and 37s for the tires.

My issues started off about 2 months ago and have yet to really find a solution. It started out as a pretty high pitched “squealing” but was brief and would go away. Fast forward a month and now (even without braking) it kinda sounds like something is grinding. When I go to brake it sounds terrible. Sounds like someone is grinding slowly on metal. There still seems to be some pad left some I just don’t understand if it was just worn pads why it would be sounding like this.

This noise also exists almost exclusively on the left back side. Even going at speeds of 20mph you can hear it then anything faster the noise is gone.

Just figured it out.
Caliper Piston was sticking
Yep told another guy about the slide bolts/pins will rust and not slide mine was doing same thing. Removed em cleaned holes put in new pins with some lithium grease put dust boots back on new disc pads and it will stop on a dime.
