Anyone else experience a brake lag? It is like driving air brakes, you press the brake pedal .............. then the brakes come in harder than you need. Yup, intermittent problem. Cannot find any common denominators for the problem.

Hey Mike,
Occam's razor, always start with the simplest answer and assume that's the issue. I'd make sure the brakes are properly bled and the system is full before anything else.

XM, I have not thought of air in the system. Honestly, I was thinking that this might be a 'characteristic' or a ghost problem that I am causing.
I have spent my life in a shop and I am still guilty of jumping past step 1 or 2 or...... on occasion. Usually it is when I am called in to find a problem that someone else can't and I mistakenly take their word on what they have already done, or overlooking the new part as potentially faulty. It is a constant reminder to ALWAYS start at square 1.
I will get it in tomorrow and bleed the system.
