Quick question, Have a High Altitiude that came with Bridgestone H/L Dueler Alenza tires. They have 30,000 miles and are still in good shape. Checking if anyone has experience in snow with these tires? Ratings say " light Snow", but that can mean many things. NE driver here so just wondering if they are suitable for snow. So far Highway and regular driving they perform well. Thanks for any thoughts.

I like the BFG KO2 tire. They wear like iron and do well both off roads and in the snow. I live in SLC where it snows quite a bit. We drive up the canyons to the ski resorts which can be pretty gnarly and we tow snowmobiles to trailheads which can be even gnarlier.

You also can’t go wrong with a 3 peak all season if you stick generally to the pavement.

The Dueler is probably my least trusted AT tire. They are a notoriously weak tire, something I saw first hand when someone had a sidewall blow out on a smooth dirt track.

I recommend the Falken Wildpeak all terrain, in testing it does very well in snow and it's an affordable tire that's also tough enough for off road use and has a 50,000 mile or 55,000 mile tread warranty.

I had those tires on mine and with the small amount of snow we got the first year I bought my Gladiator (2021) I quickly switched them out to BFG KO2's.
Also changed the size.
Went from 245-75-17's
to 285-70-17's
I live in Central Pennsylvania and wanted something with the 3 peak symbol.

You didn't like the Fallen in snow? It has the Three Peaks rating and does well here, but our snow isn't as wet or heavy as what you get.

I won't recommend a tire BC everyone has a favorite. But a 3 peak with as much siping as you can get will be the best in ice and snow. Most like the KO2 or KO3 because of this feature.
