I don't think badge theft has ever been a thing... but I didn't think anyone would be dumb enough to pay $200 for a free badge either. I doubt a their is going to use fishing line to protect your paint. Pen, stick, screw driver, pocket knife... because they are already low life's why would they care about the paint.
