Bumper vs. Snow Plow

Just drove my new Overland off the lot... now I need to get all those accessories!

One of those will be a bumper and winch, but I also need to be able to attach a snow plow. Does it matter which bumper I get or are these independent choices?

I would pick out the Snow Plow first, and then go from there. Depending on how it mounts, it may not be compatible with some of the available bumpers.
