whenever I search for larger tires people keep saying to get C rated tires. Yet all I see is E rated tires in 33 and up AT tires. What tires come in 35 with 18R yet are C rated? I don’t see any In an AT pattern. But I am not a tire expert. Help me.

I am looking for the smoothest 34-35" tire I can find as well as 18R. I dont think we will find any C, few D, and mostly E load range. Hopefully someone has some good suggestions. ?

go with 315s. Might have to go to 17 inch wheels. I have K02 315R 17. They ride great and are something like 34.6" instead of 35. C rated.

I really like the overland rims and wish to keep vs spending on new rims. Looking like 285/75/18 are closes size to fit the rim and not need lift. Yet those are load E in the two main tires I like. KO2 and Wildpeak

That makes sense. You'll just have a bit rougher ride with the E. Make sure you chalk-test them to get the correct air pressure and you'll still love them.

We would in the sizes you are looking at they will be E load rates tires. I installed E rated tires on my FJ Cruiser and noticed very little difference in the ride.

Please let us know if we can help you choose the right tire for your needs.

All my tires come from @Discount Tire with certificates. They replaced all 4 of my wife’s tires when she drove through a construction site and got flats for free because of the certificates. Awesome company

Looks like us 18ers may have to switch to 17s to get any decent tires or ride comfort. :(

yep, its an 18" thing. Its why I stayed with 17's as there are way more choices, every little bit adds up when your talking noise, weight, sidewall stiffness if airing down. Some brands have more options then others. These trucks are already short on power and larger, heavy tires without re gearing makes it worse
