So, last month our Pop-up was stolen. Fortunate for us it was recovered teh next day minus teh stuff that was inside. Yes, stupid tweekers stole it and broke into it. It didn't need to be broken into since it didn't lock to begin with. Stupid for me for storing teh off season camping gear. In the end we are only short our cast irons and couple camp tables. All good stuff but easy to replace i guess. They did leave our 2 burner stove so we got that back.
Who ever took it did try to seal the leaks but a very good job. Long story short, it forced my hand into completing some long overdue upgrades, fixes and additions. My first Dilema was the bikes. Transporting them in the bed consume a great deal of space and travel storage. SO, i added cross bars with bike mounts.
For the camper i removed all 4 corner caps, removed all the rotten wood, replaced and resealed the corners. Stripped off all teh decals and sticky stuff, primed and painted all the metals. I rubberized the roof with Beest's rubber roof primer and coating. It turned out really well!! I will be replacing all teh lights with LED and adding a new decal on teh sides to give it a little more modern look. We are excited to get back out there!!
