I installed an oracle flush mount tail light and my passenger running light blinks and then goes out. Does not happen on the drivers side. All other features, brake light, turn signals etc work fine. Just the passenger side running lights go out. My Gladiator is a 2022 Sport and is halogen lighting.

There's some serious threads on this already. I don't have these but I believe the answer is to use a programmer to set your jeep settings to LED for lighting. Search for oracle taillights and you'll see countless postings on this.

You're welcome. This forum is addictive but educational. Take a look at the threads on the oracle taillights. It may scare you because there have been a lot of problems with these but when it comes to forums, you only hear about people's complaints. Very little on the satisfactory reports. From what I've heard Oracle has come through some of the issues with these...hopefully.

Thanks again. I really like the tail lights. For me its a big upgrade. Having fun with my personal mods and wish I joined this forum earlier. Owning a jeep is similar to owning a Harley. Unlimited mods to make it personal and unique. Thanks again for the assistance!

That whole thread discusses the tail lights, the short version is:

If you were Halogen before install, make sure the resistors are installed and you use a Tazer, JScan, or AlfaOBD to set the computer to LED for the tail lights.

I was same scenario as you I reset the computer - Sport S, Halogen tails.

Once I fixed it in the computer no issues since.
Seems like JScan is the more inexpensive way to go. Any thoughts on a programer? I have never used one?

Simple enough to use, I do suggest reading through JScan's site - http://jscan.net/
Lots of great info there and I do highly recommend the JScan.
I bought https://a.co/9xtYYNJ for the OBD Reader and https://a.co/cdfvJ8U to plug into the security gateway cables. Some folks have taken to buying https://www.zautomotive.com/product/z_sgw_ext/ which is just an extension to make plugging/unplugging easier.

The security gateway is right under the dash (ok, it's not easy to reach... especially if you have big hands) and to unplug you just press a tab and pull. The extensions listed above make it a lot easier to unplug after the first time set up. Then once installed, I find the JScan app on my phone to be really straight forward and well done. JScan also has several tutorials for common situations such as adjusting lighting and tire size.

Yes. I also recommend get the extension cables if you are like me and always fiddling with things electric, etc.
I've used jscan for all kinds of things - especially in diagnosing issues, making mods or changes, setting tire size, most recently lowering the TPMS threshold since my tires aren't stock and winter here is a #$%@ as far as TPMS inflation messages with tires that already take less air than stock tires.
Took all of a minute to set from 38 to 35 pounds.

👍 No doubt I will be fiddling for a while. Plan on putting new wheels and tires on soon. Most likely will change size.

Hey Drew,

Amazon delivered my bypass cable and my OBD reader about a half hour ago. Took me longer to find this thread than it did to make the changes in my vehicle's computer. I am so glad I didn't get spooked off by all the negativities out in the big wide web. Unless Jeep made changes to the 2022 model year, these security cables were not hard to find or get to. I mean I almost went back to my original taillights listening to negativity. I am in my 60's, and very stocky about 40 pounds heavier than I should be and have all kinds of knee, hip and arthritis problems. Other than some discomfort lining on my back with the driver seat in my side, it was easy to find and disconnect the two security plugs. Once I realized the plugs were not on the firewall side and opposite the fire wall it was easy to reach, unplug and make the changes to LED taillights. Worked perfect! I would love to buy you a beer or whatever adult beverage you enjoy. To think I spent almost a week looking to find someone to do this for me until I decided that I will not let the fear of failure stop me from enjoying this modification. So glad I did. I thank you for the advice and sharing with me your experience. For those who fear the journey of making your Jeep special to you I suggest you read a little book called "Who moved my cheese?" Love these LED Tail lights and now I have no fear to make any other modification that requires a change in my CPU.

I did not get the extension cables and will not. So not necessary. I'll spend the money on my next modification. Thanks again for your help!
