Can Some Lift Kit Parts Be Used For 3" or 4.5" Kits?

I am curious if any of the suspension part in a lift kit could transfer over from different sized lifts? I am going with the Rock Krawler 3" Pro X No Limits System Stage 1. I would like to go with the coil overs but not 100% sold on that right now. I would think this question would carry over to a lot of the kits out there not just the RK kits.

So are there any parts of the kit that would carry over if 5 years down the road I decide that I want more lift? The track bar and upper control arms are adjustable. Is there enough adjustment in them to work with a taller lift?

I would think that the coil springs and shocks would not work but I know almost nothing about suspensions.

You can mix and match most suspension components as you like, as long as it’s within close parameters.

All of the control arms will carry over, including the pro x cradle on the rear axle, the spring seats will carry over, front track bar.

Springs, sway bar links, rear brake lines, carrier bearing drop, etc would all need to be purchased to make the jump to 4.5"

Thanks for the info. I did not want to bother RK guys about it right now as I'm not getting my kit till spring.

Pretty much with any lift that comes with adjustable components, everything can carry over from a 2.5" lift to a 3.5" lift with the exception of coil springs of course, shocks, and possibly sway bar end links. Control arms, track bars, bump stops etc. should all carry over perfectly fine
