Hey all, wanted to put this on the forum in the hopes it helps. We currently have a JL and have our sting grey Gladiator Rubi on order. We have three kids, ages 5, 4, and 3. YES, 3 car seats do fit across the back if you get the right ones. Check out Diono 3R car seats. Great cash test reviews, great features, and good style. Hope it helps! Pictures are in the JL.

Great photos - cute kids!

With four kids of my own, I was finally able to purchase a Jeep that they'd all fit in when the 07 4-door Wrangler Unlimited came out.

Loved that Jeep until, 10 years later, one of the kids totaled it. Still a mystery who did it!

We tried a bunch of different combinations and had a couple of different ones that worked but these are by far the best. In our JK we had another combination and it was tight and not user friendly.

Diono is definitely among the best for tight spots. I really liked our Recaro seats (good dimensions, memory foam padding, steel frame) but they quit selling them in the US...so we’ve added a Diono to the mix.

Three of my kids were driving that Christmas Break. They took turns driving anything with wheels. Day they left for college, someone parked my Rescue Green Rubicon Wrangler Unlimited in the shade across the street where there's a bit of forest. Very rainy winter. I went to drive it a couple of weeks later (it wasn't my DD) and found that one of them had left a window wide open on the forest (unseen) side and the car was soaked inside. I drove it and closed it up (VERY rainy winter). 5 weeks later I went to drive it and there was beautiful & toxic black mold on the ceiling, over the steering wheel, over the seats, throughout the ventilation system: everywhere. Tow truck driver didn't even want to get in it to drive it up onto his flatbed. Remediation cost more than the car was worth even with only 30k miles at 10yo.

I "say" they totaled it, but it was a group effort.

Just bought this car seat thinking it would work. In order to safely install it forward facing, you are still going to need to remove the head rest. :(

The JL seats are reclined a lot more than the rear gladiator, so you end up getting a huge gap between the back if the head rest is there.
