save us lazy people time and post a pictureReally like the carnivore front bumper from Quadratec. Does anyone have it and if so what’s your thoughts? Thanks
Not sure. For some reason, it looks more like an omnivore to me.Really like the carnivore front bumper from Quadratec. Does anyone have it and if so what’s your thoughts? Thanks
I prefer the winch to be mounted lower and not impede airflow to the grille. The stubby version weighs 104 lb. and the full width, 128 lb. That is a lot of weight, for a bumper only, to put on the front end. For comparison, I am running the Rugged Ridge Arcus with 12k Harbor Freight winch. That combination adds 101 lb vs. the stock plastic bumper.
Oof. I didn't realize it was that heavy. I'd almost prefer if it was made of thinner steel. Of course if it was aluminum, it would weigh 40 lbs and cost $1500.I prefer the winch to be mounted lower and not impede airflow to the grille. Did you ever get any answer to this or what did you do?Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but this is exactly my use case. I have a 2023 Mojave and I just bought the Carnivore Stubby. Right out of the gate, the instructions don't match up. They make no mention of the skid plate. I assume that this has to come off to do the install and then gets reinstalled after the fact? Also, the way the factory bumper is bolted on doesn't match the instructions. So, before I take the factory bumper off, I want to make sure that the bumper mounts on the Mojave aren't different from the other models. I really don't want to have to package this thing up and send it back. Thanks in advance.
I am willing to bet this includes the winch plate, which often is 45-50#’s….I prefer the winch to be mounted lower and not impede airflow to the grille. No, I didn't get an answer, but I figured it out. I had to remove the skid plate but it fit back on with about a 1/2 inch to spare. No problem at all. The other comment about the bumper mounts being different was just me being an idiot. The instructions were spot on. I got it installed without too much of a hassle.Did you ever get any answer to this or what did you do?
