I ended up going with a Smittybuilt 10K Synthetic on the winch which was a bit lighter. The addition of that with the bumper and skid plate hasn't dropped the truck very much. I don't do any offroading at this time just sand and highway. I will probably do something in the future to take a little of the rake out of the truck but so far I have not had any issues for what I am using it for.I have a JT Rubicon that came with a plastic front bumper. When I switched to the jeep steel bumper and added my warn winch, I started bottom out the bump stops on the front too easily when off-roading. I had to slow down. This accelerated my desire to lift the truck and change springs and shocks -- which I did...
