Changing interior map lights to red?

Im trying to change my factory led map lights to red lights. Does anybody know where I could get them at?

Red film is your best bet. I don't think those are user replaceable.

Just a heads up that aircraft moved away from red lighting decades ago.

Studies showed that if you dimmed white lights to a level where your visual acuity was the same as with a similar amount of red light, there was no difference in impact on your night vision adaptation.

That, combined with the fact that as we get older, our eyes become less sensitive to red light makes it a less than optimal modification if you are trying to preserve night vision adaptation.

Modern aircraft use white lights that can be dimmed down to nearly nothing.

Also, on a practical level. Most of the other lights on the dash of modern cars are a nightmare when it comes to maintaining night adaptation.
I've actually used a product called neutral density adhesive film to dim the instrument panels in my cars down darker than the cars will dim on their own.

Surely a company of their size has come up with a solution for the JL by now. Been out a couple years.

If the dome lights are like most of the rest of the interior lights, they’re SMD LEDs on small circuit boards, and not easily changed.
